Penn State has lion’s share of holes to fill

Now officially gone are 13 senior starters. With them go some of the best and worst memories in Penn State football history – two Big Ten titles, but also a 4-7 campaign in 2004.

In that way, the Nittany Lions are losing a truly interesting group – one unlike any other in Joe Paterno’s 43 seasons as head coach in Happy Valley.

With that unique perspective gone, what sort of makeup will the Lions have headed into 2009?
