WILKES-BARRE TWP. – With a three-goal lead and less than two minutes to play, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins head coach started to regret the phone call he made earlier in the day.
Penguins’ Taffe named AHL Player of the Week
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins center Jeff Taffe was named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 28. In three games during the week, Taffe recorded two goals and seven assists for nine points as the Penguins went 3-0-0-0.
